Payroll & Administration Clerk

£17,000 per annum

Job description:

Our Client is an engineering business based in Neath, looking to recruit an additional person for their busy accounts office on a full time basis. You will be required to have reasonable knowledge of computers. Experience of using programs such sage accounts, 50 sage payroll and Microsoft office would be advantageous.

The candidate will be required to work as part of a small team, dealing with various aspects of debtor & creditor accounts, calculating employees pay through the company payroll system and managing the company's holiday records. Deal with incoming mail and processing the banking on a daily basis as well as answering telephones calls and email queries.

The candidate must be able to show flexibility and be able to adapt to the pressures and work to time scales which occur from time to time. You must have a clear telephone manner and a good standard of both maths and English.

Normal hours of work Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (set hours to be arranged).

Pay scale advertised is a guide, but the actual salary will depend on the candidates knowledge and ability.
