At Chesterton Community College we have created a role of Progress Support Worker. This role has been in place now for three years and has had a significant impact on our students and the colleagues themselves; many have gone on to careers in teaching with students helping them Progress Support Workers work side-by-side with SEND students in lessons to ensure they reach their full potential. Both roles provide that little extra care that some students need to be successful.

We are seeking candidates educated to degree level and who are passionate about the value of education.

Chesterton Community College is a dynamic, inspirational 11-16 academy close to Cambridge City Centre. Our results are outstanding for all students.

This is an exciting time to join our vibrant college with a new build planned as part of our expansion and two new free schools in pre-opening. There will be excellent opportunities for career development and progression
