The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the statutory, self-regulating professional body for members of the education workforce in Wales. 

Working as part of the EWC's Fitness to Practise Department, the Caseworker will be responsible for administering cases involving alleged unacceptable professional conduct, serious professional incompetence, conviction of a relevant offence, suitability for registration assessments and Induction Appeals.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a casework or disciplinary/fitness to practise environment and will have excellent analytical, decision making and communication skills. In addition, in this busy and varied role, the successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and a methodical approach.

The post-holder will be required to attend Committee meetings and hearings throughout Wales and travel to North Wales will be required on average of 1 to 2 times per month, which will involve an overnight stay.

Bydd gofyn i ddeilydd y swydd fynychu cyfarfodydd a gwrandawiadau Pwyllgor ledled Cymru a bydd angen teithio i Ogledd Cymru ar gyfartaledd o 1 i 2 gwaith y mis, a fydd yn golygu aros dros nos.
