Quality Systems Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
·Development of Quality Management Systems & Security of Information Systems/Development of strategies and approaches for Quality Management, Information Security and Continuous Improvement
·Will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all quality management objectives in line with the overall Company strategy. These may include, but will not be limited to: -
- ISO Standards
- Compliance to all relevant UK, EU and global legislation, regulations and guidelines.
·The key point of contact for liaison with external third party certification and accreditation bodies and drive the standards within the business.
·To ensure the project management of all standards certification programmes and plan and co-ordinate any third party certification or surveillance visits.
·Act as the Company's expert on quality management and information security and provide the necessary training and advice to managers, staff and customers to ensure that they pursue objectives of total quality management and continuous improvement.
·Provide support, mentoring and coaching of all department managers in relation to quality management systems and compliance to ensure excellent quality standards and maintained throughout the business.
·To maintain compliance with ISO27001 and P2Pe implementation, policies, standards and guidelines.
·To act as the project manager for GDPR related activities, working with Senior stakeholders to deliver the project.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
·The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience of working with ISO27001 policies and procedures and P2Pe.
·High level of computer literacy skills
·Effective communication skills both verbal and written especially in order to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
·The ability to audit and provide evidence of the organisation's compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
·Knowledge of UK Data Protection Act/GDPR legislation
·Qualified to degree level or significant senior management vocational experience
·Records of work based learning to NVQ level 4 management or higher appropriate business/management qualification
·Competency within a Quality Systems environment
·Competency within an Information Security environment
·Relevant audit experience - especially within the area of quality and information security
