Vacancy:                     Supporter Care Assistant

Salary:                         £18,839 - £20,551 pro rata (depending on experience)

Hours of Work:           22.5 hours per week: Between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential in order to support fundraising events and activities which occur on evenings and weekends. 


Hospice of the Valleys is the specialist palliative care provider of choice across Blaenau Gwent.  A registered charity governed by a board of trustees, the Hospice delivers high quality care for patients suffering life limiting illness, and comprehensive support for their families throughout treatment, end of life care and bereavement. Due to a restructure within the Income Generation department an exciting opportunity have arisen to appoint a Supporter Care Assistant.

The charity is seeking an experienced administrator who also has a strong track record of working with supporters within the voluntary sector. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do' attitude who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and thrives on being part of a team.

This is a pivotal role in supporting the whole of the Income Generation directorate to maximise fundraising income by delivering an exceptional standard of supporter care and administrative support to the fundraising team.
