A client based in Swansea is recruiting for a Key Account Manager Reporting and working closely with the Commercial Director, you'll manage a portfolio of existing key accounts and open new accounts from targeted retail sectors. You'll pro-actively manage your accounts to increase our share of wallet aiming to be every customer's primary supplier. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent on the road visiting clients around the UK. You will identify and onboard new key customers who quickly become part of your key account portfolio. The Responsibilities include. - Support the Commercial Director to develop and implement key account strategy - Develop and intensify business relationships and understand customers' needs - Account planning and relevant actions to increase sales and share of wallet from existing key accounts - Help customers grow sales and income - Analyse data to identify customer opportunities and evaluate business relationships - Grow key account sales by identifying and opening new key accounts - Onboard new customers ensuring we deliver & delight - Meet sales targets for existing accounts - Meet targets for opening new key accounts - Meet targets for sales from new accounts - Meet Gross Margin targets for all key accounts - Sales forecasting - Communicate internally individual account service & support needs, measure, review with customer and feedback - Exceed customer expectations at all times The Role is for you if you . - Have relevant experience, key account training and highly successful in a field sales environment - Are a self-starter, results driven and committed to hitting and exceeding sales target and financial goals - Will lead by example and add real sales value to an organisation and customers through best practice account management and build strong, lasting customer relationships - Are very proactive, hands on with a 'can do' attitude - Are a team player with good interpersonal skills, someone who wants to help colleagues and customers - Are very results driven, not happy with just hitting targets but smashing them and making a name for yourself within the workplace - Are passionate and confident about sales - A forward planner, someone who will get the short term results but build for the bigger picture too - Commercially very astute, someone that can spot opportunities to develop accounts beyond expectation - Very numerical, with the ability to propose commercial terms, conditions, offers and analyse the true financial contribution to the business - Enjoy identifying new prospective accounts and the challenge of converting them to active key account customer - Have the ability to analyse sales and customer data to identify opportunities and add value for key accounts - Are a challenging thinker, someone that can have an open approach and be flexible around internal and external needs of stakeholders - Have high energy and lots of enthusiasm but can dig deep when the going gets tough - Full clean UK driving license and able to travel anywhere in UK Excellent basic, on target performance related bonus £10k and car allowance
