Work Wales are looking for a Regional Account Manager to work with a well-established and expanding company in the Swansea area. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for experienced sales professionals with proven track records in providing fantastic service levels, while meeting and exceeding sales targets, at our manufacturing site based in Swansea. The role is: Selling our access equipment into your own portfolio of existing business customers. Targeted monthly to increase sales orders with the existing client base, whilst consistently developing and prospecting new business to maximise revenue. Account management to maintain and solidify existing relationships with customers. Liaising with various internal departments to ensure effective communication and efficiencies are met. Phone-based, but NOT a call centre, with no auto-dialing. Working in a busy, friendly, and competitive Sales office within a manufacturing environment. Main Purpose of Job: To meet and exceed the sales and profit targets set. Increase turnover and profitability of designated area. Open new accounts. Manage existing accounts Levels of Responsibility: Responsible for looking after designated Regional Area. Responsible for meeting and exceeding Sales and Profit Targets. Accurately recording sales figures and reporting them to the Sales Manager. Ensuring cost effective profit margins are adhered to, in line with Company objectives. K ey Tasks: Contacting new customers to gain sales orders. Contacting existing customer to gain sales orders. Processing and confirming customers' orders. Hitting Daily call targets. Providing quotations to customers. Processing sales orders, with administration support. Important Supplementary Tasks: Advising customers correct lead times. Liaising with other departments. Keeping up to date with products and competitors. Undertake any other tasks allocated to you from time to time by your Line Manager. Processing sales orders. Qualifications / Training Requirements / Competencies: Time Management skills Communication skills Negotiation skills The successful candidate must have: Demonstrable track record in face-to-face or phone-based sales and account management experience, ideally B2B. Outstanding verbal communication and negotiation skills. Strong work ethic and be a team player. The rewards are: Base salary of £17,000 per annum.
