Territory Manager Covering Wales Competitive Salary and 30% Bonus Car, Laptop, Phone, Health Care, Dental, Pension, 25 days holiday. In a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive healthcare environment, we are seeking to recruit a talented new Territory Manager, to further strengthen our organisational capabilities in the region, reporting to the Regional Business Manager. In this commercial sales role you will be responsible for delivering quarterly and annual territory targets for promoted products within Becton Dickinson Medical Procedural Solutions by understanding the needs of our customers and positioning BD's solution to meet those needs in a profitable manner. The product portfolio includes peripheral vascular access devices, prefilled syringes, and hypodermic products (syringes and safety needles). Key areas of focus within the hospital environment will be Theatres, ITU, Wards, A& E and Procurement. Main Responsibilities: - Understand customer goals & drivers to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, positioning BD as the partner of choice. - Proactively develop and implement territory plans for sustainable, long term sales success. Review and alter this plan in line with BD MPS strategy & direction. - Follow account management plan by area growth, to focus on top 5 accounts. - Effectively manage account priorities to position, sell & implement BD Added Value Services, where this offering will maximise sales opportunity. - Effective delivery of BD Value Add Programmes (training & education). - Conduct and manage product trials & in-service process as part of account conversion, with support from the Clinical Consultant where appropriate. - Work effectively with the Regional Business Manager, Clinical Consultant, & Marketing team to maximise business potential. - Achieves standards, expectations and performance as agreed with manager. - Communication of market and competitor information. - Contribute to compelling business case development with RSM and Business Operations. Living on territory, the ideal candidate will be: - Educated to degree level or equivalent - Extensive sales experience with demonstrable record of success ideally in NHS healthcare sales (critical care / ITU), or a strong background in critical care nursing and a commitment to break into medical sales. - Able to demonstrate a good level of educational achievement. - Highly motivated, action oriented, initiative taker and good organisational skills. - Ability to work both individually and as part of a team is essential. - Demonstrate PC-literacy, especially in MS Office At BD, we are looking for candidates who possess passion, innovative solutions and a commitment to our one mission of improving access to ground breaking medical and biotechnology services for people near and far, delivering state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge research in the battle to fight and cure infectious diseases.
