OEM Contracts Manager BBI Solutions Cardiff (CF14) / Crumlin (NP11) BBI Solutions is a leading expert in immunoassay development and manufacturing services, and provides an extensive portfolio of products and technologies to the global diagnostic markets. As a business, we are currently progressing through a period of substantial growth, and have just announced a £14million investment plan for 2017 alone. As part of our exciting expansion plans, we currently have the requirement to recruit an experienced OEM Contracts Manager into our Global Contract Services Commercial Team. The Role The Contract manager will be a truly integral part of the Commercial structure within our OEM unit, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the specifications and terms of binding agreements with OEM customers are upheld both on behalf of the client and the business. The purpose of the role will be to ensure that BBI realises the full benefit of negotiated terms in the lifetime of the agreement and that the service levels and business benefits are maintained in accordance with agreements Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Creates, maintains and develops relevant proposals, contracts, service agreements and other associated documents Develops, reviews and negotiates with customer’s confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, Responds to clients demands for RFI & RFP on new opportunities within portfolio. Produces budgets and client bids in conjunction with commercial and operations team colleagues as appropriate. Develops and leads the process for the identification, development and negotiation of Change Orders for assigned projects with minimal management support. Develops and implements a change management process for agreements in accordance with Company guidelines, as well as procedures for contract management review and administration. Handles on-going issue and change management within active contracts ensuring that BBI enjoys the benefits of negotiated terms through the lifetime of the agreement. Monitor transaction compliance avoiding scope creep. Recommends changes to standard templates. Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service/Supply Agreements; Consulting Agreements; Licensing Agreements; review of customer proposed terms and conditions; Distribution Agreements (resellers, agents, joint marketing etc. Where appropriate act as contractual “middleman” between company employees and customers, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations. Maintains CRM and any other Company systems, contractual records and documentation. Ensures that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation. Ensures contract close-out, extension or renewal timetables are monitored and actioned improving turnaround time. Enables an effective and intelligent transition from the negotiation team to the delivery team. Monitors competitive terms - monitors customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions and contracting practise. Assists management with departmental initiatives, process improvements and strategic initiatives as assigned The Person To be successful in this role you will need to have both significant experience in a contract related role and also the following experience: Experience of working with multi-cultural and international customers preferable Track record of contract-related experience including development of new processes, contract negotiation and systems management Experience drafting bids and proposals in an outsourcing environment It is preferable that you are a degree educated in a Business / Marketing discipline, but we will also consider significant and relevant experience as an alternative. It is paramount that you are a skilled communicator, with strong commercial acumen, negotiation and organisational skills. You will be a capable team player with a target orientation & the ability to work to challenging deadlines.
