We require a qualified Engineer with a strong maintenance background to manage all electrical and instrumentation activity at our manufacturing site in Swansea. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will manage a small team of Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to deliver improved equipment reliability, develop maintenance strategies and manage E&I projects across a low tier COMAH registered site. Description Provide a safe, efficient and coordinated approach to Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance to deliver key business objectives Supervise a small team of Electrical & Technicians whilst managing all Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance activities and control designated projects across the site. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for CAPEX activities and manage project / maintenance costs within the department. Develop and maintain an effective programme of equipment inspection to meet statutory requirements. Maintain and develop control systems to deliver process control improvements and improve operational effectiveness. Accurately estimate and deliver project work on time, within budget and to strict EHS compliance targets. Profile Formal qualification in an Electrical, Instrumentation or Control discipline with previous site based experience within an E&I capacity. Track record of developing Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance programmes and equipment reliability targets. A working knowledge of COMAH, Process Safety and/or Hazardous Area classification. Ability to supervise and manage a small team of technicians to required project and maintenance targets. Familiarity with Maximo or SAP CMMS would also be advantageous but is not essential. Experience in the design, installation and maintenance of SIF's and understanding of the relevant legislative frame. work (standards IEC 61511 and IEC 61508) would be beneficial but not essential.
