As Payroll Administrator, you will oversee and implement statutory procedures for payrolls of circa 30,000 employees. As the first point of contact for payroll, you will manage process and deal with any discrepancies within the division. Specifically, you will: Process and calculate all statutory absences, i.e. sickness and maternity. Review and input starter/change and additions and leaver information onto SAP. Reconcile and produce period end reports and monitor variances for abnormalities. Generate TUPE reports in the event of contract loss. Administer tax code changes through EDI. Be the first point of contact for all statutory related queries specifically within payroll procedures and processes. Process all P45's and new starter declaration forms in line with legislation, submitting data electronically to HMRC. Advise employees on statutory legislation such as tax, national insurance and statutory sick pay. Calculate and process pay runs and assist in preparation and completion of P60's, P11d's and year-end reporting. Support with mortgage references, any HMRC related or third party correspondence. To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong payroll experience preferably within SAP (desirable but not essential). Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate payroll legislation to employees. Ability to work well under pressure and on your own initiative. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Good knowledge of HR and payroll administration with good understanding of statutory payroll.
