Area Engineering Maintenance Manager - Cardiff My Client is looking for an area maintenance manager who has a strong background in the maintenance of commercial properties and in particular company head offices and high street banks. This is a full time position working in South Wales where you will be overseeing a team of multi skilled engineers and engineering supervisors performing planned and reactive maintenance throughout a number of commercial buildings. You will need to have experience managing multiple sites and multiple managers and supervisors with a good technical background of high and low voltage systems and electrical systems in high street banks. You will receive a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per year and a benefits package of Private Health Care, Pension contributions and a Bonus Scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major engineering organisation that will utilise your skills in managing people, planning maintenance programs, risk assessments, budget controls and health and safety. What you will be doing: - Overseeing the maintenance programs and liaising with the client on progress - Creating reports on the maintenance programs progress. - Control budgets and sourcing of materials for maintenance programs - Chair meetings and briefings with clients. Requirements of the candidate: - 17th edition wiring certification would be an advantage. - Over 5 years` experience as an engineering manager, preferably within banks. - City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate 2391 - 2395 would be an advantage. - Working knowledge of High and Low Voltage installations. - Previous experience meeting with clients and chairing meetings.
