As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of a wider Engineering team on planned preventative maintenance programs and breakdowns. Working on a shift pattern you will be offered a generous salary and benefits package Client Details My client, based in Cardiff is a household name and is looking for a number of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team in a newly renovated modern factory. Description As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for: Operating at a multi-skilled level, covering mechanical, control and electrical. Minimising downtime through effective fault and breakdown resolution where necessary and undertake PPM activities. All site facilities (not just operational plant and equipment) - internally and externally to include all services, buildings, lighting, compressed air, steam so on. Health and safety as well as technical risks posed within your remit Contact with representatives of outside organisations including customers, suppliers, contractors and enforcing authorities. To develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships. This list is non exhaustive Working on a shift based pattern Profile The successful Multi-Skilled Engineer candidate will have: 2 years minimum relevant experience in a similar environment at technician (multi-skilled) level Minimum Level 3 and 4 City & Guilds (or equivalent) HNC in Engineering or equivalent Preferred Time served apprenticeship, with appropriate mechanical and electrical capability. Preferable experience in fast paced manufacturing environment PLC Fault finding,diagnostics and programming. Experience with ABB Robotics is desirable but not essential.
