We are currently searching on behalf of a leading global consultancy for a Cost Manager to join their team in South Wales supporting a number of prestigious clients within the Infrastructure sector in Wales and the South West of England. As a member of the team your role will see you operate in co-located environments with the clients, consultants and contractors project delivery teams. You will be responsible for the commercial administration of a portfolio of projects and key to your success will be your ability to adopt a partnering approach and form effective working relationships across diverse teams to achieve positive outcomes for programmes. You will ideally be experienced in the construction or infrastructure sectors within at least one of: water, gas, power, rail, light rail/trams, highways, environmental, regulated industries. Having gained both site and office based experience on a variety of project types you will have a solid appreciation of Cost Management of multi-discipline engineering design and construction projects (>£10m Capital Expenditure) and be familiar with either NEC, ICE, JCT or FIDIC contracts. Your duties will include: - Production of costs plans, estimates, benchmarking analysis of schemes, awareness of WLCs. - Supporting the production of commercial reports incorporating metrics - Identifying new opportunities and supporting the development of bids/tenders. - Supporting and developing Assistant Cost Managers and the commercial team.
