User Access Analyst (Intern)
About the role As the User Access Analyst - Intern you will provide support to the business and IT on compliance with all aspects of user access management such as: - Access to systems - is it appropriate for the users job role and still required - System roles - are they restricted to only allow the correct permission levels - User Access Management Issue Remediation - assisting the IT/Business teams in correcting any gaps they have today in meeting the security requirements of the company, e.g. correcting a role that allows full access to a system today when only read only is needed - Implementing process improvements to simplify the way in which access is requested/approved/assigned to business users Furthermore, you will assist the UAM team with activities and initiatives that may include the following: data analysis on user access permissions, support preparation of process documentation and training materials and assisting with the coordination/management of user access reviews. What we're looking for You will ideally be degree educated or able to demonstrate relevant experience in either the Financial Services or IT industry. In addition, you will have the ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and to able to escalate to your manager when you need support on prioritising and delivering to timescales. Finally, it is vital that you possess a general knowledge of MS Office products; especially Excel and that you provide excellent customer service. Speaking another language such as Spanish, German, French, Italian or Portuguese would be an advantage.
