GRADUATE DATA ANALYST / DATA MANIPULATION / CARDIFF Our client, a leading provider within the Tax, Audit and Consultancy business, is currently recruiting for a number of new temporary staff to join their team in Cardiff. You will be working in a team that is responsible for: Providing first line support to the financial audit teams, providing them with support and guidance in the use of the bespoke data analytics platform. Assist the client with the extraction of the required data for analysis. This may involve travel to client sites to assist with the data extraction. Carry out the manipulation and upload of data from a variety of finance systems across various business areas and clients. Communicating data quality or integrity issues effectively with the Audit practice or the client, using proven problem solving skills. Your Duties will include: Data manipulation using tools such as Excel, and Microsoft SQL. Performing reconciliations to verify the completeness of datasets provided to you. This task will require a degree of problem solving and the ability to understand basic accounting concepts which will be part of the training provided. Carry out data quality checks which will need to be raised to the Audit practice or client as appropriate. Helping the Audit practice troubleshoot first line problems with the system in a call centre type environment. Experience Required: Individuals should be enthusiastic and have evidence of a flair for problem solving and troubleshooting A strong working knowledge of Excel (including formulae such as SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP, ISERROR etc…) Good communication skills both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills and the ability work in a team Successful candidates must be willing to work variable shifts Alexander Mann Solutions, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.
