Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will provide a high level of financial support to the Consumer Business Unit by acting as the key point of liaison between Finance and Consumer. You will work closely with the Consumer CEO and ExCo, and report on financial performance. This will include offering insights for improvements and providing the linkage and communication channel on budgets, forecasts, projects, system improvements needed to ensure the Consumer Business Unit has sufficient financial MI to optimize its performance and enable strategic decision making. To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified Accountant, with a qualification that can include ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA). Responsibilities: To act as the primary point of contact for the Consumer Business Unit on all financial matters, ensuring there is a clear communication channel to Finance.To respond to ad hoc requests by either Finance or Consumer in this regard. To regularly review the style of the financial reporting MI to ensure it remains fit for purpose and evolves to meet the changing needs of the business. To work closely with Finance, ensuring the reporting is designed in a way that meets the needs of business, and that any ad hoc requests or analysis are made available. To work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure the plans and performance of the Business are properly reflected in the budgets and forecasts, and ensure any deadlines driven by that team are met . Manage the submission of the relevant assumptions and plans for that Business unit to support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process for that Business unit. Be responsible for the completion of the monthly performance report of that Business Unit, working with Finance to understand the underlying drivers and trends. Explain, apply and uphold the Finance Dept Group policies and procedures (incl accounting policies) when working with the Business Unit. Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge and understanding of MotoNovo Finance products and services, providing accurate information and proactively promoting them where appropriate Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legislative information related to MotoNovo Finance products and services (e.g. ICOB, FCA Rules, Money Laundering, Data Protection, etc.) as advised by Line Management. Ensure all Money Laundering issues are reported appropriately.
