As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a large team you will provide an engineering service to the production team and be provided with the opportunity to increase your qualifications and skills with a household name based outside Cardiff. Client Details My client, based outside Cardiff is a large, UK wide high speed manufacturer who pride themselves of quality and developing their teams. You will be an important part of the plants success. Description As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will be: As part of a team and reporting to the Maintenance Team leader. Carry out planned maintenance activities, following the maintenance plan. Attend and repair break downs as required. Be proactive in preventing equipment failures and improve equipment performance. Cooperate with contractors on joint projects. Undertake training as required to further enhance your skills. Identify performance issues and recommend solutions. Be able to prioritise your work load to benefit site performance. Profile As the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be: Educated to HNC standard or higher in Electrical Engineering is Essential. Time served with electrical bias to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Post apprenticeship,preferably in high speed manufacturing. A proven practitioner of PPM. Must have experience in PLC Control systems and PLC fault finding in AB PLC5, SLC500, Control Logix, Compact Logix, Factory Talk View, RS Networks - Including Ethernet and DeviceNet communications. Experience with PC Equipment is essential. Experience with AB PowerFlex. Use of CMMS and familiar with TPM principles. Ideally SAP but not essential.
