The Opportunity: Responsible to the Head of Electricity Data, the Settlements Compliance Manager is a key role vital to a high-growth area of the business. The position holder will be required to focus on Elexon requirements around industry SLA’s and ensure the business adheres to those requirements. Performance Assurance Reporting and Monitoring System (PARMS) is a database that contains information about how Suppliers and their Supplier Hubs are performing. The PARMS reporting specifically, will be managed in line with the operational teams and risks and issues fed back to the management team. Attendance to relevant industry led forums and workshops will be required in order to feedback information to the department and manage change where appropriate. Job Responsibilities: Liaise with Elexon to keep up with industry change Manage Elexon driven improvement plans Manage PARMS reporting on behalf of the business Report internally on industry performance and SLA’s Manage change within the Data team to ensure adherence to industry requirements Manage and report on risks and issues within the Data department Present to the Board on risks and mitigations Develop business cases where investment is required to mitigate risk Work with the Group Internal Audit team to ensure our processes and systems are fit for purpose Manage relevant external audits, including Elexon audits, SHEQ audits and Security audits Identify areas requiring improvements and work with Data managers to implement enhancements on processes and systems Ensure department meets strict operational and contractual targets Work with Data Systems team and IT to develop reporting and system developments The Skills and Experience Required: Experience working in an operational team within a compliance framework Auditing experience Change management Process management and improvement Reporting ability Ability to challenge existing practices to ensure work is conducted effectively within a compliance framework Good IT skills particularly Excel Experience of the Energy/Utilities industry would be a distinct advantage The Location: This position is based at the company Data Services Division in Wentloog, Cardiff. The office is accessible by public transport from Cardiff City Centre and at various pick up points along Newport Road. The hours of work are 08:30am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. The Salary and Benefits: The salary offered is from £34,700k to £40,000k per annum with room for development.
