As the Maintenance Manager you will lead your Engineering team to improve plant reliability whilst maintaining a complex, high volume production site, based outside Cardiff. Client Details My client based based just outside Cardiff is a well known UK wide, High Speed Manufacturer, who looks to continually develop their team through training and progression opportunities. As the Maintenance Manager you will play a critical role in their success. Description As the Maintenance Manager you responsibilities will be to: - Develop Engineering and Safety System. - Lead you Engineering team to improve plant reliability. - Delivery of Engineering labour budget in line with site KPI's. - Work in partnership with Operations and Production. - Co-ordinate the activity or your team and ensure training and development is provided when required. - Prioritise production request and execute as time efficiently as possible. - Manage aspect of performance via a PDP process. - Support CI Activity with technical support and resource. - This list is not exhaustive. Profile The successful Maintenance Manager candidate will have: - HNC or Equivilant. - Time served Electrical/Mechanical with NVQ Level 3 or above. - IOSH. - Proven experience in leading an Engineering team, ideally in a high speed environment. - Use of TPM and other CI techniques. - A strategic thinker with the ability to influence and enhance team culture. - Experienced in PPM. - SAP experience an advantage. - Experienced in using MS Office - This list is not exhaustive.
