Full job description below Investment Advisor (Associate Director) JOB PURPOSE Assist in the growth and stability of SCB Jersey Retail Bank To provide investment strategy and investment solutions directly to Clients and Relationship Managers (RM's), with complete focus on Client's desired risk/return requirements. To support RMs to increase bank's 'share of client wallet' through Suitable investment advice , client reports and portfolios reviews, To develop and deploy Suitable and rational investment solutions drawing upon SCB organizational strengths and through our open architecture structure. To support client engagement activity at all times, Travel when necessary and appropriate. Build upon / maintain SCB's status as a Wealth Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Offer Suitable and Appropriate investment advice at all times Deep product and market knowledge and experience - fully understand and seamlessly represent SCB's wealth management platform, products and services. Ability to provide upon and create multi-asset class portfolios Professional understanding and the ability to effectively communicate global economic 'macro'. Understand and articulate shifts in market themes / sentiment and the relationship to the underlying portfolio holdings.. Provide sound investment advice to large and sophisticated clients, based on asset allocation principles To act as the "Trusted Investment Advisor" focusing on client's optimal risk/return asset allocation and product positioning. To provide timely analysis of market and product information encompassing best in class pre and post sale services To be able to review and advise on client investment portfolios across diverse geographic footprint. To behave professionally in line with market practice, internal and regulatory ethics To adhere to regulatory requirements for JFSC registered individuals To understand client risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations through consultation with the RM and directly with clients. Represent yourself and SCB Jersey professionally at all times. Transaction Execution Timely and accurate dealing of client orders Track and provide regular feedback on processed transactions/ solution to client Create further client opportunities through high quality problem resolution Adherence to client investment suitability standards and to Compliance /regulatory requirements Treating Customers Fairly Ensure 'Treating Customer's Fairly' standards are continuously met. Ensure appropriate information on our customers needs and circumstances are gathered. Ensure suitable advice is provided to our customers. Must hold Level 4 RDR qualification Must demonstrate excellent client service skills and be committed to professionally servicing our clients. Must be a team player who shows initiative, assertiveness and leadership skills Demonstrate, at all times, professional interpersonal & communication skills.
