About Eversheds Sutherland:

Our corporate real estate team works across the world, providing clients with the benefit of local representation coupled with national and international resource. We have the capability to handle both major corporate transactions as well as the day-to-day portfolio management across multiple jurisdictions. From the most strategic project through to the routine work, we deliver with the benefit of planning, tax, construction and environmental support that's available when required.

As part of the Real Estate Practice Group, the Developers team's work essentially focuses on advising the developers of commercial real estate, including residential house builders and developers undertaking commercial/mixed use developments. We also act for a number of corporate occupiers advising them on their property transactions.

This is an opportunity to join an established team in the Cardiff Real Estate Department. You will deal with a mixture of work including routine title reports, arranging property searches and supervising/attending to post completion/land registry tasks, drafting reports on documents, drafting routine property documents (such as deeds of covenants and transfers), the acquisition of land and routine landlord and tenant work.

Key responsibilities:

You will receive instructions from each member of the team and will be responsible for managing your own case load involving the work types mentioned above.

Skills and experience:

We would like to meet with candidates who have been able to acquire legal experience either through working in a conveyancing environment or through completion of the LPC course, having taken the Land Law elective.

You will also need to be well organised, with a proven ability to meet crucial deadlines.

Key competencies:

You will be a committed team player with excellent communication and organisation skills. You will also have the ability to work under pressure.

We're a modern, progressive law firm. We think differently and we've built a culture where individual skills and personalities can shine through. At Eversheds Sutherland, we believe that innovation comes from a culture of genuine equality and diversity and we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require in the recruitment process, or once in post.

Eversheds Sutherland endeavours to recruit and fill vacancies directly. However, when we do need to engage with agencies, Eversheds Sutherland operates within a preferred supplier list.
