Basic Purpose and Scope: Reporting into the Recruitment Team Leader this role is responsible for the implementation of Conduit UK's attraction and recruitment strategies. If not done correctly poor hires can affect productivity, team morale and profit. The Recruitment Department therefore runs flexibly to meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - To ensure all required recruitment numbers are met for any contracts or projects undertaken. - To organise, promote and front any Jobs fairs that are attended by Conduit, or any contract represented by Conduit. - To conduct the bulk of the telephone interviewing process and to ensure that all required Assessment Centre's are fully booked. - Organisation, presentation and running of Conduit Assessment Centre's for CSR recruitment. - To liaise with external recruitment and other employment agencies to ensure the successful supply of staff required by the business. - The notification of candidate outcomes at each stage of the process. This includes successful (verbal & written), regret (written) & offer stages (verbal & written). - To conduct applicant background checks. This is based on four subsections: re-applicants (do they conform to the 6-month re-application policy?); ex-employees (who are to be checked with the Operations Management Team regarding their previous work record); referencing (as required and directed, two years of referencing, in line with client needs); and, for certain contracts a criminal or financial check. - The check-In of all new starters on induction days: gathering all correct information, and the follow up of all outstanding information. This also includes the final update of the New Starter document before it is sent out to the relevant parties. - To ensure that all new starter packs are made up and ready for up and coming Induction Days, and then completed and handed to HR within the given timescale. - Ensuring all Recruitment processes and procedures are adhered to, with all paperwork and documentation set-up for use in a timely manner. - To complete any assigned MI or reporting tasks in a timely and accurate manner. - To complete any assigned ad-hoc tasks in a timely and accurate manner. - To communicate to all relevant parties any information required, in line with Recruitment process and procedure. - To highlight any issues to the Recruitment Team Leader. Requirements: - Attention to detail - Communication skills both verbal and written - Customer service skills - Self-motivated - Ability to work under pressure and without supervision - Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
