Senior Credit Risk/Scorecard Analyst Cardiff £40,000 - £45,000 Additional Benefits Are you an experienced Credit Risk/Scorecard Analyst looking to further your career in a market leading company? My client is recruiting a Senior Analyst who will have the opportunity to work on a full range of projects which will be incorporated into the whole credit risk lifecycle. JOB DESCRIPTION The role will involve playing a leading role in the Scorecard team in building and maintaining scorecards and other statistical models. Further responsibilities will include producing reports on scorecard performance and other management information as and when required. There is a broad role remit with potential to cover different portfolios (secured and unsecured) and including (but not limited to) application modelling, credit risk modelling, stress testing and portfolio optimisation. Responsibilities: - Be responsible for the development and maintenance of scorecards - Production of reports including scorecard monitoring and management information - Taking ownership of assigned projects and support of the Credit Risk and Scorecard manager - Identify areas for improvement, and be prepared to challenge - Help in responding to specific requests from other stakeholders, and communicating your results with staff from multiple functions across the business - Maintain awareness of developments across the business and understand how you can contribute to this - Assist with the training and supervision of junior analysts - Undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when requested by Line Manager.
