Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a FINANCE MANAGER for an educational body based in CENTRAL CARDIFF - with nearly 50 DAYS PER YEAR HOLIDAY. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is the perfect balance of a high performing team with an exceptional work life balance. RESPONSIBLE FOR: To manage the day to day running of the Accounts Payable, Receivable and General Ledger functions and deputise for the financial accounting aspects of the Head of Finance's work in their absence. To assist on year end and the statutory accounts production and liaise with the external auditors and the bank. You'll assist the Senior Leadership Team in the successful realisation of the College's vision, mission and plans in delivering a new College that meets its expectations and aspirations. You'll ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the College's financial accounting and internal control systems. Assist the Head of Finance with year end. Coordinate and complete year end notes and produce the audit file. Prepare the financial statements for the College and subsidiary trading companies, as well as liaising with external auditors. SALARY UP TO £35,259 PLUS PENSION AND 35 DAYS PER YEAR HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS AND A CHRISTMAS SHUTDOWN.
