We are recognised for our long standing client relationships and pragmatic, strategic and effective advice in such areas as restructuring and reorganisations, redundancies, trade union issues, employment tribunal claims, employment contracts and service agreements, discrimination issues and claims, corporate acquisitions, outsourcing, transfer of undertakings (TUPE), whistleblowing, grievances and disciplinaries.

Role Purpose

This is an outstanding opportunity for a solicitor to join our highly successful team. We aim to offer good long term career prospects for those with the enthusiasm to help grow our client base and to develop professionally. From the outset you will get involved in excellent technical work and in business development including designing and delivering bespoke training.

The position offers the opportunity to work on a broad variety of contentious and non-contentious matters such as Employment Tribunal representation; restructurings and re-organisations (including TUPE); transactional work, dismissals and succession planning as well as advising on day to day employment law and HR issues.

Skills & Experience

It is likely that you will have up to 3 years' PQE and specialist relevant employment law experience gained with a recognised regional or London commercial firm, either pre-or post-qualification. We are also willing to consider applications from newly qualified applicants with a strong academic background. A proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management is highly desirable as is a commercial approach.
