Over the next two years we will continue to build new services, designing them from direct customer engagement, and getting off our legacy technology onto new, cloud-based platforms utilising emerging technologies.

The Role

As the Head of IT Service Creation you will play a key role in the delivery of IT products and services within DVLA. You will have experience of:

• Programme & Project Management
• Business Analysis
• Solution Architecture
• Software Engineering & Deployment
• Cloud Infrastructure Deployment
• Quality Engineering
• Transition to Operations

We are looking to appoint an experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering cross government systems and or IT delivery in a large organisation.

You will be able to demonstrate proven ability of delivering on time, to budget and within scope and of owning and taking responsibility while working as part of a wider team

An initial sift of your CV will be conducted against the essential criteria, if demonstrated you will be contacted to arrange telephone interview. The final stage of the process will be an interview and assessment.

The interview will consist of a range of question types. These could include questions about your strengths or how you may respond in any particular situation as well as specific examples of things you have done.

We expect the role will be open for applications for up to 4 weeks with candidates being assessed throughout this period.

Salary Range - GBP60,435 to GBP71,535 plus a Digi Tec allowance of up to GBP20k depending on skills and experience.

These role may attract a DigiTec allowance of up to GBP20k depending on skills and experience.
