About Consumer CardsConsumer Cards is a growing business within Lloyds Banking Group, operating within a highly competitive and fast moving industry. We manage a portfolio of over 7 million credit card customers across multiple brands, products and channels. Our strategy is to deliver sustainable growth by meeting new customer needs, engaging and retaining existing customers and becoming simpler and more efficient in the process. The RoleThe Pricing and Performance team plays a key part in customer acquisition, engagement and retention across Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland brands. The goal of the team is to ensure the business maintains competitive pricing across its channels, thereby delivering value to customers and driving performance for the business.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pricing and Performance team, in a new role which is critical to the commercial success of the Cards business. The Portfolio Optimisation Manager role has been created to address a number of opportunities and challenges we currently face: from increasing levels of unsecured consumer debt across the industry to optimising our marketing offers and credit line strategies for existing customers.In this broad and varied role you will work closely with Credit Risk, Pricing and Marketing teams from across the business to understand portfolio performance and identify opportunities to drive sustainable growth within risk appetite. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing a team to perform credit risk and pricing analysis, leading the development and implementation of new strategies and presenting proposals to senior stakeholders.This role involves analytical ability, therefore we require an individual to have experience of manipulating customer data in Credit Risk, Pricing or Marketing teams, or coaching others in this regard. You will also require excellent influencing skills, being able to extract insight from data analysis and translate this into concise and compelling proposals.
