Officer - Real Estate Fund Accountant
Job Description: You will be responsible for a portfolio of real estate fund clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include the following: Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and clients; Keeping the funds books and assisting with the preparation of periodic fund management reports, year-end financial statements, regulatory reporting, and any other funds related reports; Assisting in the coordination of periodic management reporting, year-end financial statements and annual audit process; Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits; Assisting in the organisation of board meetings and shareholders' meetings; Assisting in the coordination of investor servicing, including capital calls, distributions as well as the preparation and issuance of investor statements; While employed as an Officer you will have the opportunity to train towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) to enhance your current skills and learn new ones as well; Assisting with general office duties. Your Profile: You have good academic qualifications (A-Levels, degree or equivalent); You are studying towards an accountancy or are willing to start; You have knowledge of the fund administration industry; You possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
