Due to continued growth and demand, they require a 1st Line Support Engineer. With this position, you'd be the 1st point of contact for all IT queries and issues. It'll be up to you to either help with these issues or escalate them to the appropriate team. Key responsibilities as a 1st Line Support Engineer - Provide support to the desktop environment, proactively resolving issues through available tools and resources - Work closely with 2nd and 3rd line teams to resolve issues and learn new skills - Work with these teams to ensure end users enjoy a seamless experience when engaging with the IT team - Own and progress call queues and support tasks, ensuring timely resolution within SLA - Adhere to escalation procedures for customer feedback and Incidents, with a continual focus on resolution and service - Maintain security awareness in line with company policies - Ensure continual development and improvement of technical support processes - Deliver effective on-going support for all systems in use by our client, ensuring that the service provided is the highest possible - Work with customers and internal teams to resolve incidents, problems and issues - Promote team work and knowledge sharing Key skills required as a 1st Line Support Engineer - An interest in IT and experience with customer service - Some exposure to application support - Experience with the following technologies would be beneficial: - Active Directory - Office 365 - Microsoft Outlook & Exchange - SharePoint - Windows OS and Servers - Any ticketing system - The ability to multi-task - A willingness to tackle problems head on - An eagerness to learn new skills - Self-learning, keeping up to date with evolving technologies and continue self-development as appropriate If this looks like the role for you - Apply below 1st Line Support Engineer - North of Cardiff - £15k-£18k - 1 Year FTC 1st Line Support - Helpdesk - IT Support - Active Directory - Office 365 - Microsoft Outlook - Microsoft Exchange - SharePoint - Windows OS - Windows Server - ITIL Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business.
