Coordinator - Domiciliary Care - Newport

Our quality focused client in Newport is expanding and is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Coordinator to join their happy well supported team.
Our client is looking for a Coordinator who has a Domiciliary care background or experience of the Domiciliary care sector. You will need to have experience with planning weekly care staff rota`s, our client currently uses the People Planner system but full training will be given. Duties will also include On call (one in 4 weeks) which you will receive extra payment . As the office is based in Newport, you will need to be local and have good knowledge of the area and be a car owner/driver.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm and this role is mainly office based. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be friendly and very approachable, have experience of speaking with care managers and taking on new care packages, liaising with families, external agencies, colleagues GP and NHS services.

Ideally you will have already achieved your level 3 in health & social care or working towards this, have supervisory experience, on call experience and care planning skills with an eye for detail. You will need to be well motivated, organised, confident and professional and have an enthusiastic and positive approach to your work. Knowledge of the care standards and regs is also required.
