Reporting to, the Group Internal Applications Manager and working on a business critical internal project, this is an exciting opportunity for a customer focused developer to play a leading role in the development and maintenance of the organisations in house applications that will cover the CRM and sales process. The successful candidate will be working within a tight knit team of versatile software developers, this is a great opportunity to join an organisation has put IT at the forefront of their business and who move quickly with the latest technologies. Essential Experience / Requirements: Proven commercial experience developing web based applications using Groovy and Grails Commercial experience of using Angular JS or Tyepscript Abilities to work on concurrent JavaScript and .NET based projects Experience of RESTful Web Services (ODATA) A core understanding of relational database design and SQL including o Views o Stored procedures and functions o Performance tuning o Creating and altering tables Experience of working with source control tools Desirables: Exposure to ODATA, Typescript, NUnit, Bootstrap and / or Stylecop Experience of Microsoft .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, WebAPI, .NET MVC Experience of using Git version control system Experience of working with source control tools What you will be doing? Developing, maintaining and supporting a bespoke in-house CRM system that aims towards an uptime of 99.9% Be responsible for the management and maintenance of suitable levels of version control and code maintenance Liaising with internal super users to improve on existing products and services Perform Code Promotion, Build and Deployment of Applications to test and Live Environment Comply and maintain coding standards for all internal development Provide achievable estimates for project deliverables and requests for change Write, review and update all development documentation What you will be offered?
