Recruitment Information Officer GCS/519 Scale 4, points 18-21 Salary: £18,968-£21,154 per annum 37 hours per week, Fixed Term until August 2020 Based in Swansea City Centre Open to both internal and external candidates Gower College Swansea is developing a wide-ranging new employability programme which will be delivered from September 2017 at the College’s new City Centre site located on the Kingsway. The programme will encompass four separate EU-funded projects which will work with unemployed young people and adults seeking employment as well as with those already in work who are looking to improve their employment potential. The programme will also work with employers to create better jobs and more opportunities for in-work advancement through a range of workforce planning and workforce development practices. This is a new and exciting area of work for the college, with the potential for further development and expansion over the next 2 to 3 years. A new team is being created to support this area of work, offering the opportunity to be involved in building and delivering these programmes from the outset and to be at the heart of further developments in this expanding area of provision within the college. These posts will offer the opportunity to work with a wide range of partners across Swansea to deliver the best outcomes for those seeking to gain, retain or progress within work as well as for employers seeking to develop their workforce. The Recruitment Information Officer will support the delivery of a recruitment, job-matching and work placement service to individuals and employers. Working with the Recruitment Advisers, you will provide administrative and information support to assist in initial recruitment and selection activity and job-matching. The successful candidate will ideally have Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing. Candidates must have Knowledge of setting up and maintaining accurate administration systems and a good understanding of Microsoft Office and Management Information Systems.
