Programme Management Office Manager £30,500 generous benefits package Near Cardiff Yolk Engineering are working with this global business in the recruitment of a talented and experienced PMO Manager to join their growing team. Joining the Programme Management Office which provides visibility and control of all projects across the business, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and play a key role in the delivery of projects and achieving the company vision: Responsibilities will include: - Providing the company with an effective PMO service that helps deliver the agreed suite of reports on time and to a high quality. This will include working with Sponsors, Programme Managers and Workstream Leads to deliver high quality project reporting. - Support Programme Managers in using the company's Project Management Approach (PMA) - Drive the continuous improvement of the PMO service and the PMA. - Using your knowledge of individual projects to support the Programme Manager in the strategic management of the overall programme (e.g. interdependency issues, major programme risks, significant resource issues etc). - You will support Programme Managers with Project meetings and workshops as required. Specific duties include: - Delivering the monthly suite of programme reports - project updates, risk and issue reporting etc - Quality check all reports received, ensuring that the best information is used to inform discussion and decision making - Manage the central repository for all programme / project documentation - Proactively help manage and mitigate project risks, identifying and escalating appropriately - Identifying opportunities to improve product delivery, sharing b est proactive and project knowledge Knowledge, Skills and Experience required to apply: - You must be able to demonstrate your experience and knowledge of project/programme management principles, processes & techniques with your application. - Candidates possessing any of the following will have a distinct advantage; Prince 2 Foundation &/or Practitioner, APM, PMI, CPM etc. and experience of using Microsoft Project software.
