The Role We are looking for a part time Field Merchandiser to manage the stock and displays in three vending machines across two sites for a Carlisle customer, ensuring compliance with stock and display guidelines and maximising sales opportunities where feasible. This position is ideally suited for individuals that already work for Field Marketing/Servicing agencies, or people looking for additional income on a regular basis to supplement another part time position. M ain Duties To visit two industrial units on a weekly basis to replenish PPE stocks in two on-site vending machines at Coleridge Road, Grangetown and one at Portmanmoor Road Industrial Est . The call will last circa 5 hours and will include the following tasks: · Collect stock from pick up point at; Dominion Way Trading Estate, Cardiff · Drive to site at Coleridge Road, Grange town to services two vending machines · Drive to Portmanmoor Road Industrial Est, Cardiff, to service one vending machine · Prepare the vending machines for refill · Merchandise new stock in line with planograms · Count all stock levels · Check out of stocks and check system counts · Service display unit- basic cleaning and renewal of missing parts, non-technical · Complete basic questionnaire · Report back on any missing items or low stock and where needed place and additional order. · Liaise with the on-site contact · Complete on line report via own smart phone Skills Essential • Working in isolation with remote management • Working to deadlines and targets Desirable • Previous retail experience • Previous experience of retail line plans/planograms • Previous experience of stock management and/or vending machine management Person As with all roles within Carlisle, an upbeat, can- do attitude is paramount.
