Software Developer - .Net, C# Commutable from - Cardiff area, Newport, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Bristol A number of software developers are required to join the NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS) based in central Cardiff. IntaPeople have been selected as the exclusive recruitment partner for the next three years and we are currently looking for developers to work in a variety of teams and projects. NWIS is responsible for the design, deployment and management of national Information, Communication & Technology (ICT) systems within NHS Wales and provides a range of services to the Welsh Government and NHS Organisations. They supply over 70 software services to users across NHS Wales - As a public organisation they don`t report to shareholders; they support Doctors, Nurses and other clinical professionals, helping them provide specialist care to patients in Hospitals, GP practices and across the community; Whether it`s providing child immunisations, caring for patients with terminal illnesses or even helping those dedicated to saving the lives of Ebola victims in West Africa - their software makes a difference If you are a developer and currently looking to take the next step in your career working with one of the strongest development teams in South Wales then this organization will be happy to hear from you Requirements within this role will be to- - Write quality, well-engineered, unit tested, maintainable and readable code. - Implement unit tests and follow wherever possible a TDD approach. - Participate in product and architecture development and design. - Perform code reviews The tech stack is large and diverse which allows them to offer a diverse range of opportunities. At the core they develop using the Microsoft technology stack whether it be ASP.NET MVC or traditional Windows forms with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
