The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager of EMEA the Digital Business Development Manager, operating as part of the company's Digital Transformation business development team, will be responsible to - consultatively lead on all new digital transformation consulting business development opportunities for the country/region assigned across sectors. The geographical coverage will be for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Digital Solution BDM is a full portfolio seller, solely focused on generating new clients. Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager is responsible for reporting to a General Manager and will be accountable for generating business at Stg£3 to 5M of revenue per year. Has a 'hunter' mentality - loves to cold call and open new accounts. Detailed knowledge of one of the following verticals Retail, Logistics, Tourism, Healthcare, Banking/Financial Services/Insurance, BPM or Media & Publishing. Develop new business for the company via various lead generation channels. Manage the sales process from generation to closure. Must be able to add value to the sale and work with Pre Sales, Directors and delivery Team, (local and global) to develop the appropriate solution and close the business with the client. Facilitate account revenue maximization through account management activities. Be able to sell the entire company's Portfolio leveraging local and global capabilities, company-wide practices and national business unit. Through continuous personal development you will become a subject matter expert and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your clients. You must have strong communication skills and be able to present complex concepts, designs and solutions, verbally and visibly. Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the growth of the company. Experience and Qualifications: 5 to 8 years of sales in technology consulting services (must have relevant experience selling consulting services versus hardware/software/services). Experience selling for an ITO, BPO, Software Developer, Consultancy. Candidate should have the ability to manage executive level relationships in the mid-market, (Stg£50M to Stg£5B) and above. Must have an active network of contacts within the target market sector. Experience of working with and managing partner relationships (OEM, VAR, hardware/software vendors, integrators etc.). Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling. Be able to demonstrate skills in sales pipeline progression and forecasting, using CRM systems. Excellent Social Media presence and can demonstrate how you use social media tools in your sales role. Other Desired Characteristics: Solid experience selling Bi-spoke software sales and IT professional services. Must be equally adept at all facets of the sales process from lead generation through the sales process itself and into account management and development Developed specialised business - solutions driven, project oriented versus staff augmentation. Good understanding of large information systems projects, good analytic skills, project management skills, understanding of disciplines (e.g. systems development methodologies, object orientation, etc.) and technologies (hardware, software, databases, etc.), mobility, analytics, IoT, grasp and ability to solve business problems (scale and performance oriented problems - a plus).
