Client Details A leading retail organisation looking for an Analyst Programmer based near Cardiff. Description You will be responsible for developing and supporting systems, creating bespoke applications, designing & building software solutions effectively to enhance how applications are viewed and delivered to the business You will be responsible for working within a team who ensure that applications developed are reliable and meet end user needs. You will support the technical design, analysis, specification creation, programming, unit testing, and documentation for users working within a scrum team. Responsibilities: Work on a variety of systems, applications and web based projects Create and support business applications using Microsoft Visual Studio. Communicate effectively with non IT users the solutions to their issues/requirements Investigate and streamline current business applications. Analyse and solve application related issues, which can come from users at all levels of the business. In response to incidents raised - troubleshoot, analyse, develop and amend computer systems using appropriate analysis and programming skills in line with specification, user or technical requirement Unit-test system features so that software is ready for system testing Conduct demonstrations and reviews with end-users to ensure that they are able to use the systems effectively after deployment Profile The person Multiple year's experience working in a development/programming role. Experience of managing/mentoring junior team members Converse with Visual Studio 2008, 2015 2.5 frameworks Experience of retail systems/back office systems Technology - VB, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, API, JavaScript / Json / Jquery, XML, Web Services Desirable Technology - T-SQL. / Views / Store Procedures, SSRS/SSIS,HTML Job Offer £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience attractive benefits package This job was originally posted as
