Acorn is recruiting on behalf of our client a leading specialist within their field for a Junior Accounts & Facilities Administrator to join their expanding team. This is a role whereby you be part of a vibrant and fun office, whereby you are given the skills to learn, grow and develop yourself.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the company's accounting function. You will also ensure that all administrative tasks within the department are completed in a professional and efficient manner.

* Purchase ledger tasks - reviewing all invoices for payment, obtaining correct authorisation for payment where required, preparing and processing payment runs.
* Sales Ledger tasks - raising invoices to customers and partners companies, processing invoices data accurately, monitoring and reporting on sales ledger activity to assist with debt management.
* Cash book & cash book reconciliations against bank and credit card accounts, posting receipts and payments accurately.
* Ensure all debts are collected in a timely manner and ensuring goods are not delivered until debts are paid.
* Assisting in day to day management of all company facilities including ordering stationary and booking maintenance.

The Candidate

* Experience of working with Sage or a similar software package.
* Excellent IT skills including Excel.
* Well organised with good attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Part Qualified or studying towards their AAT Qualification.


* Paying a basic salary of up to GBP18,000.
* Monday to Friday working hours (9am - 5:30 pm)
