Our client has a vacancy for someone who is passionate about Health & Safety and Compliance, to work within their Compliance team to deliver commercial and strategic Health & Safety solutions to clients. The clients are based across the UK and there will be approx. 1 to 2 days per week travelling, with the other days being office or home based.

Your commitment...

  • Undertake risk assessments at clients premises to include General Risk Assessment (GRA), Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and Patient Access Audit (PAA)
  • Document risk assessment findings
  • Develop an action plan to correct/remedy assessment findings
  • Main point of contact for designated portfolio of clients
  • Deliver the Health & Safety contractual commitments to our clients
  • Provide advice and support to clients on H&S, coach managers through guidance and support and equip clients with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their working environment
  • Maintain a Health & Safety workbook and associated documents
  • Effectively manage jobs via the CRM system
  • Periodic reporting
  • Build and maintain contractor relationships
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of training sessions and workshops
  • Actively participate in company and client meetings
  • Identify areas of business development opportunity with clients
  • Work in partnership with Compliance colleagues on the review and updating of Health & Safety policies
  • Maintain relevant and current knowledge and experience in Health & Safety law
  • Active affiliation with appropriate Health & Safety networks and organisations external to the Company and ensure on-going involvement
  • Champion our culture

  • NEBOSH and or IOSH certified
  • Strong working knowledge of UK safety legislation
  • Previous auditing experience in a Health & Safety role
  • Driving licence and own vehicle

The deal...

  • 35 hours per week over 5 days - Monday to Friday
  • Up to £22,500 per annum
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and service based increased annual leave
