The Opportunity: The Customer Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of a customer’s metering and data portfolio as specified in each unique contract. To provide an appropriate reporting and invoicing service to both external customers and internal staff with a focus on delivery. To guide and develop customer account coordinators. Job Responsibilities: Assist with smooth handover of new customer from marketing and business development teams through to delivery as part of BAU Consider commercial impacts of new customer accounts and work with co-ordinator to prepare internal systems (stock, IT) with focus on delivery Handover delivery of account to co-ordinator if required Work closely with clients, suppliers and service providers and develop working relationships to ensure success of delivery and securing future business opportunities Be aware and assist with reaching business area targets and provide delivery within commercial parameters Work closely with internal teams to ensure delivery in line with quality processes and business values Monitor and progress all aspects of metering and data delivery requirements including maintenance of AMR/logger portfolio through reporting tools Oversee reporting showing progress with the delivery of the project including data service, providing assistance and focus on key elements Ensure frequent follow up and focus applicable persons on necessary areas Monitor and review issues with appropriate internal teams where issues arise Work with teams to adapt processes if applicable with focus on delivery Attend and where required lead staff and client meetings Provide technical support and advice to both internal and external clients Responsible for handling, reporting and rectifying customer complaints and issues concerning the delivery of the metering and data portfolio Skills and Experience Required: Extensive customer and supplier management experience Proven experience managing a fast-paced reporting-based department Experience driving forward strategy and continuous improvement Experience of monthly reporting on department objectives and financial results Strong IT skills particularly Excel Knowledge of meters and communication methods is desirable Electricity Metering Industry and/or Data Industry knowledge is highly desirable Location: This position is based at the company's Data and Metering Services Division in Wentloog, in Cardiff. Travelling to other offices and to supplier and customer premises for meetings will be required from time-to-time. The standard hours of work are 08:30am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. Salary and Benefits: The salary range is from £20,800 to £30,500 per annum and is dependent on relevant experience.
