New Business Executive – Field Sales - Energy Broker Home-based Territory: Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Carmarthen Permanent, competitive salary, uncapped commission company car Here at Orchard Energy we are expanding at a fantastic rate and we would be interesting in speaking with experienced Field Sales people from an energy or utility background. Due to our success in current regions, we are expanding our reach across the UK, specifically around the South Wales region. We are one of the Top 10 Energy Brokers in the UK and your role will be to build on Orchard Energy’s existing client base for your designated territory, through new sales and high quality service in order to meet and exceed your targets. This is a focused and targeted business-to-business (b2b) role, consisting of attending client visits (sometimes at short notice) and presenting our service portfolio. You will have Tele-Appointer support to make initial contact with prospects and book in meetings for you but you will be expected to generate leads yourself. You will need to be as clued-up on the Utility and Energy markets as possible, to give you the confidence and conviction to deliver your knowledge to the client. As the role involves introducing Orchard Energy to the potential client for the first time face-to-face, creating an excellent first impression is extremely important. This is a 100% new business focused and target-driven role. We are looking for a hard-working, intelligent and sales-hungry individual to come on board, who will have the get-up-and-go that is required within any Field Sales role. You will not only be able to build good relationships with your customers, but also with your Tele-Appointer. Personality is very important in this role; we do not believe in hard sales, we strive to be viewed as Consultants who are offering their clients the best advice we can give. Experience of working in the Utility or Energy industry is a must as this is a very fluid market and can fluctuate very quickly, so having an understanding of that market knowledge to our clients is vital. B2B field sales experience is essential. You must also be happy to travel within the territories listed above. You will need to be savvy with a computer as you will be using our in-house system to log all client communications and book follow-up meetings.
