Work Wales is delighted to work with one of our most reputable companies within their respective industry to recruit a Programme-Co ordinator You will be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager in delivering a successful programme on time. The role will include all the activities associated with project managing programmes. This will include setting up new finance systems, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, risk management, reporting and query handling. Key tasks will include: Assist the Programme Manager in the execution of the overall Project Plan to ensure the Programme is performing on or above targets. Deputise for the Programme Manager, when necessary at appropriate meetings Manage the day-to-day operational delivery processes, KPI collection, quality control and administrative tasks, ensuring that suitable levels of control are in place, to ensure compliance with all contractual and other regulatory responsibilities Manage the reporting, performance & financial processes working with the staff and financial accounting team Produce opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting and forecasting capability to support the Programme Manager in terms of driving performance Any other duties associated with the operational and financial control of the Project Skills & Attributes: Project/Programme Management skills A highly motivated individual, able to work as part of a team but also manage own Workload and determine priorities Highly numerate, with proven financial and commercial skills to handle the Programme's financial data and be able to analyse, report, forecast, Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organisational Skills Possesses strong inter-personal, tact and diplomacy skills necessary to work within a high pressure environment Ability to prioritise work, in order to meet deadlines and to remain calm under Pressure Excellent ICT skills, including CRM, Excel and PowerPoint plus excellent administration skills Ability to analyse complex situations, think on one's own feet and and provide practical solutions Ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage Experience and Qualifications: Experience of administering/controlling/managing a large complex project/programmes Experience of managing and working on Government funded Project Relevant Project Management qualifications, such as Prince 2 Relevant degree or equivalent in business, management/administration, finance or suitable accounting qualification In the absence of formal qualifications, the candidate would need to control demonstrate significant experience of programme management and financial This job was originally posted as
