Our client has identified an excellent opportunity for an Information Broker to join their team on a fixed term basis until April 2017.

You will be managing referrals and providing information on health and wellbeing services over the telephone.

Position Summary
As Information Broker, your role will include a variety of duties:

• Providing information and advice/assessment in relation to the availability of local amenities, services and groups.
• Promoting self-reliance and resilience, providing information on how care and support operates in Bridgend, how to access care and support and the types available.
• Actively listening to all clients and using a guided conversation to identify the information most appropriate to the people's needs
• Undertaking home visits when required for clients who are unable to access the service by telephone or electronically

About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of how to manage a guided conversation with people and good listening skills
• Knowledge of how to use digital databases
• Able to work under pressure and achieve targets
• Able to use your own initiative and work remotely as part of a wider team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate empathy with people and generate an enabling response that promotes self-reliance and resilience

Suitable skills/experience: Customer Service, Advisor, Client Services, Executive, Agents
