They are a mutual building society, founded in 1860. Being a mutual means that they are owned by and run for the benefit of their 500,000 Members - their savers and borrowers. They are looking for an experienced Software Delivery Manager to work in a dynamic environment as a leader of people and a manager of the IT deliveries components of their projects. As an enthusiastic manager of people you will be able to demonstrate both strong leadership and motivation skills as well as good man management and performance management capability. They have a complex and varied technology estate, and there will be opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects, including areas that may be new to you as part of your development. You will be asked to contribute to how they work and exposure to agile methods would be an advantage, especially scrum and automation. Experience of matrix management is key as is the ability to build strong working relationships with other change teams.
