HR Officer - c£36k excellent benefits, Swansea Salary & Benefits: £36,000 per annum (negotiable), non contractual bonus, pension, healthcare and other employee benefits and schemes. Working closely with the HR Manager in a small, well established team with big responsibilities, the HR Officer / HR Advisor will be a key and central part of the HR remit for a successful, stable business of long standing in the Swansea area. Within the HR team, as the HR Officer / HR Advisor, you will manage a mix of HR administration and HR generalist support, including assistance with ad-hoc queries from employees and line managers alike. There are ongoing and planned HR projects to support, but on a day to day basis, you will assist in the delivery of a first class HR, training and recruitment service. Key Responsibilities: - HR Advice on a full range of employment matters (supported by the HR Manager) - Assist with the production, updating and implementation of current and new HR Policies and Procedures - Assist with advise and training of line managers on the delivery and/or interpretation of HR Policies and Procedures - Recruitment (working with agencies and conducting telephone and in person interviews) and induction of new employees for permanent, contract and temporary staff - HR reporting (weekly and monthly) using our in house HR systems and MSOffice - Manage investigations and disciplinary, dismissal and grievance meetings Applicant Requirements: - CIPD level 5 or 7 qualification or QBE and willing to study to achieve formal CIPD qualification - Experience in a varied, generalist HR role (at least 3 years) - Strong knowledge and experience with the practical application of employment law - Excellent written and spoken English; able to build a rapport and work with colleagues from entry level to senior management - Team player - On message, concise, able to cope when working to deadlines - Understanding of/experience in a unionised site beneficial Application Process: Applications in writing on email (CV and covering note preferred) to our exclusive and retained HR & Recruitment partner.
