Continuously pursuing its ethics of quality, safety and reliability, the company is a highly respected front line supplier of re-manufactured Power Packs, Cooler Groups, Engines, Transmissions and Final Drives. Position Summary A vacancy exists for a Service Engineer, key responsibilities include; Work as part of our client's service team reporting directly to the client Carry out service and repair work within the workshop environment as and when required. Carry out fault diagnosis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems. Carry out LOLER examinations, training will be provided if not an IPAF card holder. A basic working week will be Monday to Friday, working no less than an 8 hour and no more than a 12 hour shift per day. You will be required to work one in every three weekends on call, nights will also be worked if reasonably requested and not for more than two weeks in any quarter. Person Profile/Experience: Applications are invited from interested personnel who have: Good working Knowledge of OEM road trucks. Knowledge of road rail vehicles an advantage, but not essential. Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems. Good communication skills/customer facing. Able to work to approved instructions. Able to work on own initiative. Must hold a full driving license for the class of vehicle you will be required to drive. Must own comprehensive tool kit. Special tooling will be supplied. Qualifications: Must hold a full driving license for the class of vehicle you will be required to drive.
