Within this, LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their fast growing Business Services team in Cardiff. Reporting to the UK Finance Manager, the Financial Business Partner will play a key role in the company's management team, analysing financial data and producing financial reports, providing commercial decision support to drive profitable business growth. You're a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or experienced finance business partner who has worked as part of a multi-functional management team to achieve shared goals, ideally within a large multi-national technology organisation. You are a proactive influencer and have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to simply and effectively communicate complex financial data to a non-financial audience, both verbally and in writing. Your attention to detail will be a key strength and you have proven ability to prioritise effectively, managing multiple deadlines and delivering at pace. You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience using Oracle based financial systems and Essbase is desirable. Main Responsibilities: Analyse revenue trends and sales reporting data, to produce weekly and monthly forecasts for revenue performance, providing insight into variances to budget and prior forecasts for management review. Business partner with teams across the business to compile budgets & forecasts for expenses, leading reviews to provide management information to support decision making and applying financial controls for good governance. Analyse complex data sets from financial and CRM systems, to prepare financial reports for regular management review including month end closing, board reporting and ad hoc requirements. Represent the finance team as part of the cross functional middle-management team coordinating operational management of the company, implementing commercial strategy and creating a high performance culture. Work collaboratively with global finance teams throughout the Group to support AR & AP management, preparation of statutory financial accounts, meet requirements for tax accounting and internal audit/compliance. Financial/Budgetary Responsibilities: To work within delegated authority from the Finance Manager and manage the flow of financial delegations throughout the company.
