Housekeeping Manager (Hospitality)
Our growing hospitality client in Cardiff are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to provide the highest possible quality of cleanliness and product offering to all guests, ensuring the standards meet and exceed expectations. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the housekeeping team, ensuring all standards are met and exceeded to ensure all guests have a pleasant experience. Key Responsivities - Implement actions to continuously improve the standards and cleanliness - Monitor the online feedback system, ensuring feedback from customers is reviewed on a regular basis and improvements made where necessary - Ensure payroll costs are controlled at all times taking necessary action when required - Motivate, engage and support the team and ensure they are fully aware of their responsibilities at all times - Generate weekly work schedules to ensure all tasks and project work is completed within the agreed timescales - Attend and participate in the weekly operations meeting and monthly business reviews to present your departments performance - Build and maintain an efficient team supporting the recruitment and selection process - Deliver routine inspections to ensure the product offering meets the required standard - Ensure the team fulfil all reasonable requests from guests at all times - Maintain team communication through regular contact, team meetings and 1:1's and provide appropriate training and tools to ensure staff performance and conduct are kept at the highest standards - Responsible for the delivery of all staff training, identify training needs and skills gaps - Ensure the ordering and control of amenity supplies are in line with the budgeted spends - Monitor the performance and quality of suppliers - Provide a clear handover during shift changes ensuring any outstanding activity is resolved Experience & Skills: - Full, clean driving license - Extremely well organised with strong management skills and an ability to multi-task - Must be able to work efficiently on own and as part of a team - An excellent ability to plan and manage own times and workload effectively is essential - Experience in a similar role is essential - Excellent communication skills - A drive to deliver first class customer service Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience. Hours: 40 Hours per week. The right candidate must be willing to work flexibly to suit the 7 day per week operation. Hours will be scheduled accordingly.
