They are now looking for a Finance Manager to join their passionate team in Neath. In this rewarding role, you will act as a key member of the Senior Management Team and will have the chance to help shape and influence the future of the charity. From a website with a 'hide me' function to meeting rooms away for prying eyes, their services are discrete, versatile and provide the support that abuse victims require. The Role As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial management of the charity. In this important role, you will oversee budgeting activities and report on the organisation's financial performance to management and the Executive Board. Specifically, you will: - Provide accurate strategic financial management for the charity - Liaise with the Executive Board, SMT and employees to interpret and understand financial information - Review, train and provide support to managers - Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance with the Charity Commission, Companies House and auditors - Prepare financial reports About You To join this ambitious team as a Finance Manager, you will need: - Experience gained within a senior finance role - Management experience - Previous experience of working with Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll - Knowledge of charity finances - An AAT qualification or proven experience of working at AAT level or above - A degree (or equivalent) in accountancy Fluency in Welsh, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application. Experience of working in the voluntary sector would be an advantage, as would experience of reporting to a board or committee. Qualifications in management or H&S would be equally favourable. Other organisations may call this position a Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, Accountant, Financial Accountant or Accounting Manager.
